I am not in-network with any health insurance plans and therefore all fees are paid out-of-pocket by the patient. However, I provide all patients with a detailed receipt called a "superbill". This can be used by patients to submit claims on their own to their plan. Often, the insurance company will count the full or partial amount of the appointment fee towards the deductible or reimburse the patient directly if the deductible has been met. Of note, Medicare, regardless of the plan, will not reimburse fees from out-of-network providers. Please contact your insurance company to learn about your out-of-network benefits.
